Core Advantages
The bull gear is integrally forged for improved density, higher impact resistance, and better overall toughness. The standard material is AISI 4135 alloy steel (equivalent to 35CrMo), which effectively resists deformation, abrasion and fatigue failure under severe drilling loads. Custom material options are available for special harsh working scenarios.
Processed by multi-spindle CNC precision machining and world-class heat treatment, the gear achieves accurate tooth profile, stable mechanical properties and uniform hardness. The whole production process follows strict QC inspection standards, greatly reducing failure rates and extending the component service life.
The herringbone gear supports both gear grinding and gear hobbing processes. The high-precision grinding version reaches HRC 55–60 tooth surface hardness, providing smoother meshing, lower noise, minimal vibration and superior wear resistance. Gear hobbing is available as an economical solution for general working conditions. Two middle tooth space options (7mm and 65mm) ensure flexible matching with different pump structures.
Engineered for heavy-duty oilfield drilling, this bull gear can withstand a maximum working pressure of 7500 PSI. It maintains stable transmission efficiency under long-duration high-load operation, adapting to complex and changeable downhole working environments.
Designed with universal installation parameters, the bull gear is fully interchangeable with mainstream mud pump models and various power end assemblies. It can be directly replaced without additional modification, greatly saving installation time and maintenance costs.
