Fluid End Parts
The liner clamping nut (also known as liner press sleeve or liner retainer nut) is a critical pressure-bearing and fixing component for the fluid end of mud pumps. It works with the fluid cylinder's trapezoidal thread to axially secure the cylinder liner and ensure high-pressure sealing, making it essential for stable pump pressure operation.
Structure & Performance Features
High-Strength Thread Design: The large trapezoidal external thread offers high load capacity, ensuring tight engagement with the fluid cylinder's internal thread. It withstands high-pressure mud reaction forces and prevents loosening or thread seizing.
Drive Lug Design: Evenly distributed drive lugs on the outer diameter are designed for use with special chuck wrenches, allowing standard tightening torque to be applied for secure liner installation and easy removal.
Precision Locating Step: The precision-machined internal step provides accurate axial positioning against the liner flange while reserving space for sealing elements, ensuring a tight fit on the sealing surface.
Alloy Steel Forging: Forged from high-strength alloy steel and quenched and tempered for excellent strength and toughness, offering superior impact and fatigue resistance for harsh oilfield conditions.
Corrosion-Resistant Finish: Black oxide or phosphating treatment provides excellent resistance to drilling mud corrosion, extending service life.
