The mud pump hydraulic cylinder, also known as the valve box, is the core pressure-bearing component of the mud pump fluid end. Serving as a sealed chamber for piston reciprocating movement, it directly withstands continuous pressure impact and erosion from high-pressure sand-laden drilling mud, while providing high-precision mounting benchmarks for liners, valve assemblies and other core parts. Product Description
Manufactured in strict accordance with API Spec 7K international drilling equipment standards, our hydraulic cylinders are precisely compatible with mainstream mud pump models including F series and 3NB series with outstanding versatility. The product is integrally forged from premium materials such as 45# carbon steel and 42CrMo high-strength alloy steel, which fundamentally eliminates internal material defects like porosity and looseness. Combined with multi-stage heat treatment and multiple precision machining procedures, the cylinder features dense structure and excellent resistance to impact and fatigue.
The three hydraulic cylinders equipped on each pump are fully interchangeable, greatly simplifying on-site maintenance and spare parts management. Critical positions including the cone sawtooth thread of the cylinder head, all threaded holes and inner cavity curved joint surfaces are elaborately machined to guarantee assembly accuracy and sealing stability. The inner wall can be reinforced via quenching, nitriding, hard alloy surfacing or ceramic coating processes, followed by precision honing. The finished product achieves a surface roughness ≤Ra0.2μm with maximum hardness up to HRC65, effectively resisting abrasion and erosion caused by sand-containing mud for long-term service in various harsh high-pressure drilling environments.
