The 14-P-220 valve cover plug is a core high-pressure sealing component for the fluid end of oil drilling mud pumps, designed for harsh downhole conditions to seal the valve cover access port and ensure reliable high-pressure containment.
Structure & Design Features
Stepped Heavy-Duty Design: The thick stepped cylindrical body matches the valve cover’s stepped bore precisely, providing uniform stress distribution and excellent impact resistance under high working pressure.
Central Internal Thread: The top central threaded hole allows for lifting and removal, and can also be used to connect pressure gauges or relief lines for versatile maintenance needs.
Radial Operation Holes: Two radial through-holes on the side enable easy lever-style tightening and removal, meeting high-torque installation and disassembly requirements.
Corrosion-Resistant Finish: The surface is treated with black oxide or phosphating to resist drilling mud corrosion and fluid erosion, extending service life.
